Sam really was asleep in that laundry basket. This was taken around 2007.
Our computer is getting old and having problems so I spent time burning all the pictures onto DVDs – just in case everything crashes. Here was some old ones that made me laugh. Now I just need to find a picture of Kaitlyn in a laundry basket. She loves sitting in them too.

It’s been a quiet week here at our house. Which is nice. We are “winterizing” today. Every November we have that day where we put everything in the garage and hang up the toys and bikes so Mike can park in the garage before it starts to snow and snow. We are late actually. It is already snowing (and blowing sideways). I know what I said about getting outside in any weather- but I’ve told Boo that I’m staying inside today.
Here is a flashback to Thanksgiving 2007. Abby was 4 and Sam was 2. I think it is the only Thanksgiving we just stayed home and didn’t have anyone over. It was a simple meal and Mike and I ate on our wedding china. We only had 3 place settings then- and we only have 4 now. Below is Abby at her preschool Thanksgiving progam the same year. In another week we will see Kailtyn at her first preschool Thanksgiving program. Time flies.

15 days until departure! The “Big Boat” is the Disney cruise ship. Sam nicknamed it that when we went a couple of years ago to the Bahamas on the Disney big boat. This time will will be spending a week in Alaska, Disney-style. We are in full preparations for leaving. The car is currently at the shop getting ready for our long drive (to the ship terminal in Vancouver, B.C.), and we have been shopping for things we need to take with us. We are a little excited (if you can’t tell).

Today we woke up with a dusting of snow on the ground. Sam had a preschool fieldtrip to the Nature Park here in town. It was cold and I just dropped him off. No pictures today. So instead, here is what we were doing 10 years ago this month:
I love this guy more than ever. It’s been a great 10 years.
